Latest power outage numbers in NE Ohio
At one point, over 250,000 people in Ohio were without power.
A gas station canopy toppled at BellStores Gas in the 5600 block of Manchester Road in New Franklin due to the strong winds, as seen in the video below.
Video captured in Brecksville showed a downed live power line that had been sparking for hours on Westview Drive. As seen in the video, the power line also caught leaves, bushes and small trees nearby on fire. Video below courtesy of Dick Russ.
In Parma Heights, part of a gazebo ended up on a resident’s roof in the 10700 block of Lawndale Drive.
