• His family announced that he passed away Monday, March 9, after being diagnosed with brain cancer in September.
• DeCarlo joined Boston in 2007 following the death of original lead singer, Brad Delp, and toured with the band for nearly two decades.
• A GoFundMe page was launched in September to cover his medical bills after he suffered a sudden brain bleed and was later found to have melanoma masses on his brain and a spot on his lungs.
• Boston's official website paid respect to the rocker with a picture commemorating DeCarlo alongside his birth and death dates.
